Scholarships

At A.R.C Angels Foundation, our mission revolves around empowering students who champion mental health awareness and drive efforts to raise suicide awareness within their educational institutions and communities. Through the provision of scholarships, we recognize and support these dedicated individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of their peers. By fostering a culture of empathy, education, and open dialogue, we strive to create a generation of compassionate leaders who are equipped to tackle the pressing issues of mental health and suicide prevention in schools and various organizations.

Scholarship Application

A.R.C. Angels Foundation is awarding up to 10 $2,500 scholarships to St. Louis area seniors who have participated in suicide awareness/prevention activities.

Application due March 25, 2024

A.R.C. Angels Foundation is dedicated to preventing youth suicide though education an awareness. A.R.C. Angels Foundation was stared in honor of Avery Reine Cantor, a Lafayette High School student who lost her life to suicide in May 2014.

1. Application requirements:

  • Available to high school seniors in the following St. Louis-area school districts: Clayton, U City, Kirkwood, Pattonville, Ladue, Parkway, Rockwood, Fort Zumwalt, Francis Howell, and Wentzville
  • Completed scholarship application form, including an essay of 750 words or less describing participation in suicide prevention activities or events

2. Application deadline is March 25, 2024.

3. Application and all supporting documentation is to be mailed/delivered to Rick Cantor, 16502 Meadow Hawk Drive, Glencoe, MO 63038

4. After receipt is awarded the scholarship, the funds will be distributed directly to the academic institution by September 30th or funds will expire.

5. Receipt of the scholarship will provide a picture for the website.
