HELP PREVENT SUICIDE

Your donation will help prevent youth suicide through education and awareness.

Impact

  • Advanced suicide prevention training for Rockwood School District teachers and staff
  • Brought to the attention of Senator Jill Schupp the epidemic of youth suicides in our state, resulting in two hours of mandated training for all teachers and counselors in Missouri.
  • Over the past two years presented to more than 2,000 youth, parents, and teachers/staff and currently serves the following school districts: Parkway, Rockwood, Valley Park, Premier Charter Schools, and Confluence Academy.
  • Hosted awareness events with more than 5,000 participants.
  • Awarded $36,000 in scholarships for students who were actively involved in suicide prevention

A.R.C. Angels Foundation is funded through:

  • Annual gifts (private and corporate)
  • Online giving
  • Estate/planned giving
  • Special events

Why Give?

  • In order for A.R.C. Angels Foundation to expand our reach within schools and our community we require additional staffing.
  • Suicide is the second leading cause of death between those ages 10-24. With the proper education, the signs of distress can be identified early. With early intervention, we can save a life— and saving one life at a time is what we are all about.
